Squares in textile by the Dutch artist Nel Linssen (1935-2016)
There is a lot of relief and movement that occurs due to the use of the different directions of the fabric weave (changeant effect).
Nel Linssen studied visual arts at what now is called the ArtEZ university of the Arts in Arnhem, Netherlands and graduated in 1956.
Her work is in museums worldwide.
The squares originate from the 1970's.
